Transcript Import –> Captions (No Speaker ID)

Upload a transcript with or without identified speakers and the system will remove speaker names and/or >>’s and create a caption file that does not include any speaker identification.

*Maximum file length for this turnaround time is 60 minutes. Use the support chat if you have longer files that require this expedited turnaround time.

**Files need to be uploaded by 6pm for the turnaround time to be met.

Live Captioning Resources

Live Captioning is ordered from the Live home screen within your Verbit account. You can book a session up to 24 hours before your event. If you need something more immediate, send a message in the support chat.

Captions can be displayed on the screen for both Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings. You also have the option of sharing captions within a separate browser window. A link will be provided to you in your confirmation email.

Details on Setting up Captions:

If you are hosting a meeting on another platform (not Zoom or Teams), captions will be shared in a separate browser window.

Booking a Live Session

Why would I request an iFrame? If you are not using Zoom or Teams, an iFrame would allow the captions to show up in the same window as the virtual meeting.
