Prior to the coronavirus outbreak, leaders at universities and eLearning institutions were already exploring how to utilize more technology to enhance the student experience.

With an influx of tools on the market, as well as further insights from those who have effectively implemented principles like the Universal Design for Learning and accessibility initiatives, it can be difficult for higher-ed professionals to identify where to begin investing their efforts, time and budgets. Now, the need to adopt more technologies and teaching tactics has been escalated due to today’s health concerns, which have driven most learning environments online.

Next week, we’ll address these concerns and the opportunities they present with 15 higher-ed leaders virtually. EduALL: Making Higher Education Work for All Learners will drive the higher-ed community to engage in important discussion around these timely topics. This virtual event will take place on Wednesday, April 1st from 10 am – 12:30 pm EST.

Video platform leaders from Mediasite, Kaltura and YuJa will hold sessions exploring how video can be used to keep remote students engaged. Additional panelists will talk through ongoing initiatives and best practices from their roles at Virginia Tech, George Mason University, FIT, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, University of Kentucky, California State University and more.

The event will conclude with a keynote session on the future of education technology led by Katie Blot, a leading higher-ed consultant who previously served as Blackboard’s Chief Strategy & Portfolio Officer.

EduALL will also address:
  • How universities are implementing inclusivity initiatives effectively
  • What technologies can make your campus more accessible
  • How to increase student retention and graduation rates
  • How to effectively design online courses
  • How to meet students’ on-demand expectations
  • The expected impact of Artificial Intelligence on higher-ed

This event is complimentary to attend and open to all individuals in the higher education, eLearning and ed-tech spheres.
