About the role

We are currently looking for an Account Executive to drive new business in the North American market and ensure customer satisfaction in our Education and Corporate vertical.

Responsibilities:

  • Close new business driving ARR to hit sales revenue goal
  • Manage a complex, enterprise solution sales cycle while owning multi-layer selling and relationship building.
  • Introduce clients to SaaS AI video captioning, clearly articulating Verbit’s value proposition and the USPs of the platform
  • Lead online presentations of Verbit platform and solutions
  • Effectively build working relationships with product, operations, legal, finance, security, marketing, and partner team members within Verbit.
  • Drive technology first conversations with prospects
  • Forecasting deals to accurately hit sales target while keeping clean and up to date salesforce hygiene.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of cloud enterprise software sales experience.
  • Experience in complex SaaS sales model is required. AI and/or Education SaaS experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of online video (encoding, management, delivery, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proven track record of closing new business; success meeting and exceeding quotas with a refuse to lose attitude.
  • Experience proposing, presenting, and discussing solutions with C-level and other executive-level decision-makers both in IT and the business
  • Extremely high energy with stamina to perform consistently at a high level in a demanding environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong business acumen.
  • Must be organized and be able to prioritize, self-starter
  • Strong people skills and a consultative approach
  • Must be adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a flexible approach to responsibilities and work hours
  • Travel 50% of the time or more as required
