Today, Verbit announced the acquisition of VITAC, the largest provider of captioning products and solutions in North America. The acquisition will position Verbit as the No. 1 player in the world in the professional transcription and captioning market across legal, media, education, government and corporate sectors.

VITAC has 35 years of captioning expertise, working with nearly every broadcast company, the majority of cable networks, program producers, corporations, educational institutions and government agencies. Together with VITAC, Verbit can now offer a deeper portfolio of solutions.
