Director of FP&A

Our adaptive AI technology is customized for the higher education and legal industries. The company has over 130 employees in Tel Aviv, Kiev and NY and has secured $125M of financing to date.
Verbit is seeking an experienced FP&A Director to join us and lead our FP&A efforts turning data into action. This position reports to the CFO.
The ideal candidate for this role has 5+ years of FP&A experience. We are looking for a motivated team player with close attention to detail, a strong ability to work cross-departmentally. Responsibilities
- Lead company forecasting, planning & analysis for short & long-term financial processes
- Provide deep working insights into key operating metrics
- Be a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior management; proactively collaborate, influence, and align the company’s financial processes to achieve our goals.
- Partner with multiple internal organizations to drive efficient growth and processes improvements
- Develop data controls to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting
- Run scenario analytics for multiple ranges of key metrics and financial data points
- Collaborate across the finance organization in managing our operational P&L forecasting process for quarterly estimates, annual budget, and our long-range plan
- Create, manage and automate operational reports and dashboards
- Develop financial modeling to support critical business decisions
- Partner closely with our accounting team during monthly close cycles
- Analyze operational processes and procedures to support key finance/business initiatives
- Create M&A modeling and financial analysis

Requirements
- Must have 5+ years of FP&A experience from high-tech company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong experience with SaaS metrics
- Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
- Hands on with advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knows how to lead a process and motivate people within it
- Prior accountability building financial forecasts, monthly reporting and variance analysis
- Demonstrated experience supporting key business decisions through detailed analytics and preparing executive-level summaries
- Highly organized and strategically focused with attention to detail
- Experience with ERP tools (Priority or NetSuite experience is an advantage
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field – an advantage.
